 Happy New Years everyone, its been a tough 2009 for the planet. Figure the worst is past us now. Time to move forward and into a better age and better times! Woke up this morning with such a great omen in the sky, a perfect bright sunrise. Mother earth does paint the best pictures.  |

Caught a little outer reef surfing then
 Went to the Hurley art show in Chinatown, for the last few years there has been a ressurgance in the art scene here in Hawaii spearheaded by the first friday art walk. Every first friday the galleries open their doors , throw fun little events that turn into one giant party in Chinatown. Hurley put together a collection of artist that they sublimated their art onto a surf short. These one of a kind pieces were then auction and donated to a bunch of charities. Congrats Brooke on putting all this together. Clark Little  Teddy from All Bus  Mozo  must have been cold  of coarse AngryWoebots  Bigfoot  After the show we caught some good dim sum then wrapped it up.    Tonight is a huge night for Hawaii football! We have to beat Wisconsin to complete our improbable bowl run. Lets go!!!! |

 Our friend Brooke put together an art show with Hurley and Contrast magazine here in Honolulu. After all her hard work gathering artist to put their art on a boardshort, organizing the whole thing tonight is her night. We were stoked to be able to create a short alongside along list of artists that will be auctioned off tonight all proceeds going to the Jr lifeguard program, Save our schools and Samoa relief fund. Its gonna get weird tonight..... |

Living on an island storms come marching through sometimes, from perfect weather one day then wild rains the next
   Winter is here. With the wild weather comes big surf so lets see what happens in the next few days. Looking at the surf forecast they are saying that the swell is gonna be up to 43 feet high  I have never seen anything like that on the charts EVER. |
