Being home now for 6 days! I'm loving ever moment! The weather has been very hot, but i love it! So far every day surfing at Kewalos, waves have been really fun!
Just heading out of the house now with my brothers and little Kaulana (Apo). He placed 2nd at Nationals in the Mini Groms div! Absolutely killing it!!!! Well, the boys are yelling at me, GOTTA GO!!! SEE YA!  (L to R) Kaulana and Noa! both making the Mini Grom final ripping the entire contest! Those jackets they are wearing were given to the entire Mini Grom final from Koa Smith! He has a clothing line of cool jackets like theses that his mom makes! super cool!! |

Hey!! I just got back from CAlifornia for nationals! It was a great 3 weeks... Fun waves, great weather, amazing people, what else could i ask for!!? I am now home for 5 days and then off to France! So I'm savoring every moment I have at home. After france I'll go back to California to watch the finals at the U.S. Open in Huntington beach. After that I go straight to Mexico with Roxy and Quiksilver team riders!

Another Long long long weekend, with a great finish! :) My older brother Micah WON the Jr.Mens State Championships! It was probably one of his biggest wins ever! And I was so happy for him! That contest was held at Bowls, they scored really good waves and that was a great advantage for Micah. Day after States, there was the King of the groms at Kewalos. My younger brother Josh did an amazing job! He is the shy one out of us 5 and he really stood out in this event! The King of the Groms has a different contest format, where you as the surfer gets to choose what wave you want the judges to score to move you through the heat. So you have 20 minutes to surf, claim the wave you want, after you claim your done with the heat and need to go in hoping that your competitors don't top that score. From round one you get $100 for each heat won! Josh, won 3 heats with really high scores (two 9 pt. rides and one 7 pt.). He made the final and placed 3rd being the youngest surfer in that final! My good friend Ezekiel Lau (aka. Zeke) won the event and went home with $600!!!
It was a really exciting weekend for all of them and I just want to say WELL DONE BROTHERS! :) On friday night, Coco came into town and stayed at my house with another good friend Nage'... We went to the movies with my brothers and all there friends! It was a really fun, and the movie was saw was probably one of the best I've seen in a while! The next morning we went for a early surf at Kewalos and the waves were really really fun! :) WHAT AN AWESOME WEEKEND! :))))  I'm not going to see her for 3 whole months! :( so sad! Now being on the CT her suite case is her closet! Non stop on the road!  My best bestieS! <3  Partner in crime FOREVER!!  My crazy brother!!! LOVE THEM!  It was just as exciting as it looks!  Alwayss with big smiles  The smoothest style ever!  Can you guess who won!!? (giant in the yellow) good job boys! |

Just recently Uncle Kirby has been receiving some e-mails from people all around the world about how I should keep up my blogs or how they wish me luck on some of my surfing events this summer! REading these really encourage me to stay on top of things, especially my long boarding! Some times I forget what brought me into this amazing industry so when I hear about how people enjoy watching me long board its really encouraging!!! So thanks all of you who keep me going and for all the support!
We have a very long weekend and week ahead of us!!!!! Its not only the end of the school year but the boys have a bunch of events and right after that we head to California for Nationals! Im so very excited!!!!!!! -Thursday: States day 1 -Friday: States day 2 -Saturday: States day 3 -Sunday: King of Groms -Monday: Quiksilver Jr. pro Yikes, that already tires me!
