This girl amazes me. She started off on a 11’0 longboard and worked her way down to a 5’9 high performance shortboard. Enjoying each ride along the way.
It takes a lot of wave knowledge to position yourself on such a small board on a wave. It’s only getting better and better.
Teraoka-san came to Hawaii for 2 days of surfing. After todays session, he jumped back on an airplane back to Japan. That’s a true surfer!
Surfing early in the morning and flying back to Japan is the best feeling. Once you get your seat, you take a deep breath and feel so content.

Round 3: I’ve never met a more energetic surfer girl in my whole life. She could probably go 5 rounds a day. We ended up at my secret spot and had the ocean all to ourselves. Super good conditions.
I went to test out Mayuki last week and she was running smooth. As I approached Diamond Head, something came to greet us.
A big pod of dolphins! I stopped the boat and watched the dolphins jumping all around. It felt good to be flying in the ocean again.
